Tradie App Finder is an independent software buying guide for Australian trade businesses — electricians, plumbers, HVAC, cleaning, roofing, and handyman operators looking to shortlist job management software. We are not a vendor and do not provide software ourselves; we compare what already exists so a business can walk into a vendor demo with a clearer idea of what to test.
Who we are
Content is researched and reviewed by the Tradie App Finder Editorial Team using vendor documentation, pricing pages, and product pages, then structured into comparable profiles for Australian trade businesses. We publish only experience, credentials, test results, screenshots, and user quotes that can be supported by recorded evidence.
How we build recommendations
Every software profile is built from official vendor sources: pricing pages, feature pages, and product documentation. We score workflow fit across categories like mobile usability, scheduling, quoting, forms, compliance, inventory, complex jobs, and accounting sync, then use those scores to shape shortlists by trade and team size. Data sourcing and freshness
Every software profile carries a last checked date and a data confidence label ("High", "Medium", or "Needs verification"). These reflect how recently we revisited the vendor's own pricing and feature pages, not a guarantee that pricing hasn't changed since. Software vendors update plans, modules, and regional availability without notice, so we always link to the official vendor and pricing pages on every profile so readers can verify current terms before purchase.
How this site makes money
Some links on this site may earn referral or affiliate revenue when a reader clicks through to a vendor. This does not change what a reader pays, and it does not currently change which tools are shortlisted — the goal is to keep the shortlist based on workflow fit, not on which vendor pays the most. What we do not do

- We do not present quote-based vendor pricing as fixed contract pricing.
